How this site works

Start Cabbing covers the first two machines a stone cutter buys: a rock saw and a cabbing machine. Most search results for these machines repeat a store's product description. This site gives the price, says where it came from and lists what's missing.

Checking

• Prices and specs come from the store or maker page, with the day they were read.
• A second page is used when one exists: a product page against its collection page, or a retailer against the maker.
• When two sources disagree, the number is left out and the page says so.
• Judgment calls are labeled as reasoning.

The machines here haven't been run for the site. That's why every page leans on the maker's manual and on what experienced hobbyists post in public, and why corrections from people who cut stone are welcome.
